The UMC is the primary point of contact between the deploying unit, the installation and other commands for overall deployment transportation support.  The UMC reviews, validates, and ensures each supported unit maintains current Unit Movement Data (UMD) on file with FORSCOM IAW FORSCOM/ARNG Regulation 55-1.
