Special welcome from Devil 6, commander of 1st BCT:
Congratulations on your assignment to the 82nd Airborne Division and the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, “Devils in Baggy Pants.” On behalf of more than 3,500 Paratroopers and families in the Devil Brigade, welcome to Fort Bragg and thanks to you and your family for your service and sacrifice. You will find that your time as part of the 1st BCT and Fort Bragg community will be both challenging and fulfilling.
The Devil Brigade continues to aggressively train on our core competencies. We will prepare to conduct no-notice deployments in response to contingencies both at home and abroad. Upon completion of in-processing with the Fort Bragg Reception Company, report to the 1st Brigade Combat Team Headquarters, Bldg C-2729 on Ardennes Street. If you arrive after 1700 or on a weekend, sign in with the Staff Duty Officer or NCO, and report back to the BCT HQs the next duty day at 0900.
